How can we help? 👋

Why does Mute ask for Screen Time access?

Mute asks for Screen Time access so it can block the apps you choose.

On iPhone, Mute uses Apple’s Screen Time technology to temporarily restrict selected apps during a Mute session. This permission is required for app blocking to work.

Mute only uses this access to help block the apps you select.

Your data stays on your phone. Mute does not see which apps you choose, how often you use them, or what you do inside them.

If you tap Not Now, Mute won’t be able to block apps until Screen Time access is allowed.
