Mute helps you create a quieter phone life by blocking the apps you choose. Zephy is the physical device that helps you start and end your focus sessions with one simple tap.
Here’s how to get started.
1. Open the Mute app
Once you download Mute, open the app and follow the steps on your screen.
You’ll answer a few quick questions, choose what you want to mute, and connect your Zephy device.
2. Allow Screen Time access
Mute uses Apple’s Screen Time technology to block the apps you choose.
When the permission screen appears, tap Continue and allow access. Without this permission, Mute won’t be able to block apps on your phone.
Your data stays on your device. Mute does not see which apps you choose or how you use them.
3. Choose what gets muted
Pick the apps or categories you want Mute to block.
You can choose social media, games, entertainment, news, shopping apps, or anything else that tends to pull your attention away.
You only need to select at least one app or category to continue.
4. Pair Mute with Zephy
When you reach the pairing screen, tap Connect and hold the top of your phone close to Zephy.
Once your phone detects Zephy, Mute will connect to it.
5. Start your first session
To start a Mute session, tap the top of your phone to Zephy.
Your selected apps will be blocked instantly.
